Description

On rock cliff in shady temperate forest.

Whitish Gray, isidiate, algae green. Isidia 0.25 mm wide. Thallus verrucose. No apothecia. tiny orange, mint green or white worm-like "isidia" about 1/10 size of whitish gray isidia. KC+ red turning yellow. C+pink/red, fading.

Description

Growing on basalt outcrop in area that is very minimally shaded. Smooth, almost shiny white thallus, areolate, with black prothallus and black apothecia slightly sunken or level with thallus (appear rimless).
