Description

Western scouringrush has tall green stems with ovoid stems that are pointed at the tip. The stems are ribbed and are rough to the touch. This plant has leaves with whorled phyllotaxy.

Description

Bladder pod is a densely branching shrub native to southern California. Leaves are made up of three identical leaflets. There are bright yellow flower clusters at the ends of the stem branches. Each flower consists of four petals and six long and whisper stamens. The bladder pod is self seeding and can be distinguished by its large light green color seed pods.
