Found fresh scats at base of Tallow wood, spotted koala in the canopy but too far up to photograph properly.

First Richmond Birdwing observed this year at 6 SW Road Beechmont

Terrible photo, as the butterfly is up resting in a quandong tree. But is definitely at Richmond birdwing.

I thought this was a regular orchard swallowtail until I looked at the photos again! Man, birdwings were on my bucket list and didn't even recognise it in the moment :,D

Pair of Richmond Birdwings mating. They stayed here for several hours. Not easily disturbed. I had my mower within a metre of them when I noticed them.
