Description

Not quite sure if this is actually a violet oil beetle but I haven’t found any closer suggestions; I know they haven’t been recorded in VA. Would love any feedback and have Live Photos of it walking if anyone is interested. Found in Grayson Highlands state park on the cabin creek trail.
