I'm a botanist who consults for EIAs for the mining, oil & gas and renewable energy industries. I have the privilege of travelling throughout sub-Saharan Africa each year and have to date worked in 19 African countries all over the continent. The region where I have had the most experience is the miombo woodland belt of southern tropical Africa, particularly the DRC, Zambia and Mozambique. Have recently relocated to the heart of the Cape Floristic Region and now reside in a small town at the edge of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve.
