I currently work at the Department of Zoology of the Eastern Center of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (BIOECO) as conservation biologist with focus on Malacology. I made my research on land and freshwater snails ecology, taxonomy and distribution, mainly in the rainforests, karst and agroecosystems. I'm an enthusiastic nature photographer walking into the forest with my non professional camera, trying (however) to capture the beauty and diversity of the wildest Cuba.
