The desert southwest has such a diverse amount of life to it. I've always had a passion for exploring this amazing area. I enjoy hiking in all biomes in Arizona. However, at least for now, my favorite biome is the interior-chaparral, which includes junipers and oaks. Additionally, I grow many native plants including pipevine, milkweed, cacti, oaks, and juniper. I'm also very fascinated with the genus Aristolochia.
