I’m a researcher focused on ecology and plant-insect interactions, with degrees in zoology, botany and entomology. My recent research has focused on insects on trees in California, including eucalyptus, oak and conifers. I have really enjoyed exploring with iNaturalist. It has brought me back to the excitement of discovery of felt when I was just starting as a biologist. I have pretty broad knowledge at the Class, Order, Family levels, only a handful of species I am confident at identifying from photos. I don't have fancy equipment, but I will aim to produce usable, verifiable images.
