I am a keen naturalist living in north Chatham-Kent and retired from a boat restoration/repair career. I started serious bird watching in 1988 after experiencing a major fallout of birds at Rondeau Provincial Park in May. I am also interested in odonates and lepidoptera. I am involved with various volunteer nature surveys and other citizen science events. Some organizations of which I am a member: Sydenham Field Naturalists, Lambton Wildlife Inc., Essex County Field Naturalists, Ontario Nature (Life), Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO), Birds Canada, Toronto Entomologists Association (TEA) and life member of Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS). I was previously (2X) a voting member of the Ontario Bird Records Committee (OBRC). Favourite birding place is Rondeau Provincial Park and area.
