Preparator for beetles at the State Museum of Natural History in Stuttgart (Germany)
Among the amazing parts of my job is sorting beetle specimens from all over the world and integrate them into our collection :) And I'm very happy to put some of my experience to use in helping with IDs and correcting misidentifications in the digital collection of Coleoptera on here.
Photographically I'm most interested in the living tiny (<5mm) Coleoptera and some Hymenoptera. I photograph in my free time using a SonyA6600, Laowa 65mm2x lens, Laowa 25mm2.5-5x lens or a Mitutoyo10x/tube lens combo with added variable aperture for specimens <1mm like the 0.8mm Pteryx suturalis in my profile picture.
