I am a proud member of the Blackland Prairie Master Naturalists since 2015. I have participated in meadow restoration and specialize in creating native butterfly habitats. I have a huge butterfly garden filled with host plants and nectar sources that I call Camp Butterfly. I am also a registered waystation for monarch butterflies.. I have an insatiable curiosity for anything that involves nature. I am constantly reading, learning and observing things all over my backyard and the natural areas that still remain around my home in Frisco, Texas. I grew up in the piney woods of east Texas where I spent my entire childhood playing outside and being friends with all of the wildlife and trees and water around me. My goal is to educate and inspire people about conservation and the beauty that surrounds us.
