I am a keen hiker and naturalist. I have a Masters degree in Botany but am not a taxonomist. I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa but now live in Japan. My knowledge of Japanese flora and fauna is poor so I'm trying to teach myself through iNaturalist.
I'm also interested in insects, spiders, birds, animals, fungi, and all other species.
