Biodiversity Consultant based in Istanbul. Studied Biology in undergrad in PA, USA and completed an honors thesis on freshwater mussel conservation. Long-term passion has been birds but platform of choice for those observations is eBird. Dabbled in freshwater macroinvertebrates, salamanders, crabs, and zooplankton. Other taxa of specific interest have been spiders, mushrooms and butterflies.

However I always keep having oooo! shiny! moments as I continue to learn about different taxa and habitats. All life is fascinating.
