I'm interested in nature since I could barely walk, always looking for flowers, bugs and mammals.

Actually I study Applied Limnology at the University of Life Sciences in Vienna and just started working on my master thesis about benthic invertebrate communities in Austrian mountain rivers, therefore my main focus lies on all sorts of benthic insects like Stoneflies, Mayflies and Caddisflies.

Right now I love learning everything possible about water and it's ecology, but I consider myself a student of nature in all it's facets.

Travelling and hiking are my favourite activities so I'm looking forward to sharing some foreign content here, too.
