I am a longtime resident of Vancouver Island. I have worked as a wildlife consultant in BC for over 25 years, specializing in birds. I have also taught birding courses and organized community birding and natural history events for many years.
I am particularly interested in the birds of Vancouver Island, migratory raptors in British Columbia, and I have spent many years working on Marbled Murrelet and Western Screech Owl research and conservation in BC. I am also very interested in the distribution of butterflies on Vancouver Island.
In general, I am interested in most aspects of natural history.
