I love being outside, whether it's in the woods or in my garden. My gardens have evolved through the years to include more and more native plants. As a result, I have seen so many more insects, including wasps. I love to take photographs in my garden and during my walks in the woods. I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 1998 and have canoed more than 100 miles of the Wisconsin River. I'm currently working as a STEM teacher at an environmental science school and hope to get my students curious about nature.
