Hi my name is James Anderson and I am the naturalist for the Marion County District. I have a Associate Degree in Wildlife management from Hocking College and a Bachelors Degree in Wildlife/Fishery Conservation Management from the University of Rio Grande. I have been a naturalist since 2010 and I have worked in camp and non camp settings. I started working for the Marion County Park District since May of 2015. My specialty would probably be birds, wildflowers and herps. I enjoy everything in nature and I love teaching others about their natural world around them. I especially like teaching kids about nature because I created a quote "If a child does not learn
how to respect the environment now, as they grow up it will be harder for them to acquire that appreciation later." I like to learn more about fungus, lichens and insects.
