At present, joining a local service/education org ... the Blackland Prairie Texas Master Naturalist (BPTMN) chapter. They coordinate via this site. I'm a lifelong citizen of the planet, active in Girl Scouts and also Scouts USA (i.e., Boy Scouts) ... mostly in the natural and physical sciences ... and also introducing the wonders of nature to young minds via intermittent school-based STEM and environmental sciences activities. I'm also engaged with EarthX, Keep Texas Beautiful (Keep Allen Beautiful chapter), and the North Texas Renewable Energy Group (Chair).

Can't help but enjoy the wonders of flora/fauna, ecosystems, weather, geology, and climate while pursuing my real love ... rock and mineral collecting.
