I am a USDA Forest Service Forest Pathologist based in Juneau, AK. Our Alaska Forest Health Protection team uses iNaturalist to provide identification and information to the general public. We gain so much from iNaturalist by improving our understanding of insect and pathogen distributions in Alaska and connecting us with community members with a keen eye for detail and a passion for forest health and forest ecology.
