I am a retired college professor of economics. I returned to an old hobby, photography, when digital cameras appeared. I would describe myself as an avid - some would say obsessed - naturalist. I started with birds but quickly fell in love with wildflowers then butterflies then mushrooms etc etc. Now, if anything in the natural world moves, I want to photograph it and learn all about it. The biggest problem is my memory banks are now "full"
