Had my mini Darwin moment when I moved from India to the USA. Everything from trees to animals looked so different from my native place.

My favorite part is comparing flora and fauna of two continents when I go back to my native place once in a while. Some things are similar (e.g. US - black-necked; India - black-winged stilt). Other things are very different - in the USA the warblers are all colorful, and flycatchers are drab and look the same, while in India it is quite the opposite. And then there are unique families not found on the other continent (prinias, hummingbirds, sunbirds).

I have always been fascinated with nature and wildlife.
