I am the collections manager for the WL & CF Culberson Lichen Herbarium and Library at Duke University, the largest lichen herbarium in the southeastern USA. I am a lichenologist by training (PhD 1997 Duke University) but I'm also pretty good with non-lichen fungi; bryophytes; and vascular plants. I'm the founder of western Massachusetts' "Berkshire BioBlitz" (now in its 13th year!) and lead organizer for 2017's "SIPS BioBlitz" near Ithaca, NY.
