I am a Naturalist who is interested in almost everything! (except grasshoppers, ants...So far!). My degree is in biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Started off as a birder at age 14. Moved to Duluth area to go to college and be closer to the Boundary Waters and Hawk Ridge! Founded the Friends of Sax-Zim Bog and am executive director. Mainly interested in photos and video of critters. I publish field guides to the natural world including Spiders of the North Woods, Dragonflies of the North Woods, Damselflies of MN, WI, MI, Tiger Beetles of MN, WI, MI, Lichens of the North Woods, Amphibians & Reptiles of the North Woods, Orchids of the North Woods, Ferns & Allies of the North Woods, etc.
