The Sea to Sky Invasive Species Council (SSISC) is a not-for-profit organization actively working to prevent and manage the spread of invasive species in the Sea to Sky region. Invasive species are plants or animals that are not native to the region and can threaten local ecosystems, damage property or even cause harm to humans. The SSISC has committed to protect local biodiversity, in part by working to minimize the potential risks posed by invasive species to our community.
