Sup y'all. My name is Sharon and I normally botanize in Southern California (but more specifically, the Mojave Desert). I got my BS in biology with a botany emphasis at Cal Poly Pomona (go Broncos)! I've worked on several projects with different organizations, including the USGS, to aid in the research and protection of our precious desert plants. Still debating whether I want to go to graduate school-- I just stick to teaching for now :)
