I'm most interested in native plants and insects, and the relationships between the two.
I have a degree in agriculture with experience from several countries around the globe. After settling in the US I had a landscaping business (now reduced to design work only) and became a stone sculptor.
My art work is displayed in my extensive garden, which since more than 10 years I"m improving as a native habitat garden. While most plants were planted by me, all animals found their way here by themselves. I'm constantly adding new ecological niches, like rock gardens, a pond, a wetland area, dry meadow, etc and the variety of life has increased considerably. I am documenting this development with my camera.
