I'm originally from Fort Wayne, IN and came down to South Texas in January of 1991 to get my Master’s degree in Range & Wildlife Management from Texas A&M University - Kingsville. My thesis work looked at seasonal changes in bird communities on King Ranch. I continue to reside and work in South Texas. Besides my passion for birds and birding, I also have a strong interest in butterflies, moths and dragonflies.
