I'm a physical chemist and have done very little biology related since getting a 4 on my high school AP exam. I call all composites "daisies". Well, if they have no tube flowers, just the longer petal ones, I might be willing to call them "marigolds". Suffice to say, I know nothing about identifying a plant or animal and will tend to defer to anyone willing to add their own opinion. Er, unless there seems to be something off.
