Final Stretch!

Today is the last day to get out and make observations. Thanks so much to those of you who contributed observations over the weekend. We are closing in on 500 species and 2,000 observations. Way to go @spiderviking with 258 observations! Now is the time to encourage new iNaturalist users to join in the fun and help document wildlife in Ada County. Thanks again to all the identifiers behind the scenes for helping move observations through the process.. Remember, photos taken until midnight tonight can be uploaded through May 7th. and still count for the Challenge. Results will be announced May 8th.

On to Identifications!

Wow...way to go Ada County! So far you have documented 563 species! This is already more than last year's total and we are just getting started with the identification period. Don't forget that photos taken between April 28th and May 1st, can continue to be uploaded through May 7th and still count toward our Challenge totals. Thanks so much to the 180 observers and 220 identifiers who have helped out thus far. Let's work together to move as many observations as possible to research grade by Sunday! I will share the results as soon as they are announce on May 8th. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to document the incredible biodiversity found across Ada County! I hope that by participating you learned something new, found a great new wild spot to visit, added to your species list, and/or met some new community members.
