Description

Looked around here for a long time, this site supposedly has q arkansana, but could not positively ID anything. I think this is just a slightly weird water oak… difficult time of the year to ID these species.

Observer

Description

@andrewhipp These are certainly the same plants I saw in 2016.

https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/3199991

The dominant sedge in the plot is Cx gravida, with a few Cx molesta here and there. The informal footpath, which is generally running northeast, makes a slight bend toward the north at this point.
