4 mm? Lousy photos but maybe recognizable.
What a wonderful time I had with fellow TPWD folks at a staff meeting this week! Had a really cool opportunity to do some black-lighting with Ross and others at Albert and Bessie Kronkosky State Natural Area. Didn't stay out too long (so dry!), but a few cool things did show up.
Treehopper - Ophiderma evelyna (male, ~6 mm, body length 4.5 mm)
Location: Durham NC (USA); came to lighted window
Apparently the males have this bold pattern and the females are green. Similar to O. flava (adjacent observation), which is restricted to the mountains in North Carolina.
