Spring has Sprung!

Today was amazing. I found a plethora of animals, including my first snake and first in-hand turtle. Tons of deer, new species of birds, the cormorants are back, and crayfish are breeding. I also heard an owl and saw a heron.
Perhaps the most exciting though was I heard a few chorus frogs in a vernal pool!
Today was sooo much fun. Spring is truly here in Colorado

Nice, buddy! I went herping after school yesterday, found the following animals:
3 Northern Dusky Salamanders
1 Eastern Red-backed Salamander
1 Northern Two-lined Salamander
1 American Bullfrog (accidentally dug him up while clearing a drainage ditch)
10+ Freshwater Waterslaters
5 Freshwater Shrimp
2 Oriental/Wood Cockroaches
2 Drumming Sword Wolf Spiders
5+ Forest Wolf Spiders (Unknown species, but they belong to the Hackledmesh Weavers family)
2 Hairy Woodpeckers
1 Northern Cardinal
5 White-breasted Nuthatches
3 Downy Woodpeckers
1 Red-bellied Woodpecker
2 Tufted Titmice

And I might be going herping again after school today. I hope you're doing well, my friend. :D
