Description

This handsome gentleman has been living in our house for months now. He likes it in the kitchen window but also spends a lot of time around our plants. It's a bit like having a free-range spider pet. I'll be very sad when he's gone.

Description

Perfection. I never thought when I first began inat that I would ever hit this milestone. I mean 1000 species? Not even 12 year old me knew half of that. My first observation was a house sparrow in Israel’s airport. And ever since I’ve collected and observed hundreds of insects, mammals, and plants. Each species holds meaning. Each species is important. No matter what it was or how it looked like. Every species has its purpose and that’s why nature is perfect. From this tiny leafhopper to a Snowy Throated Kingbird. I am so happy that after 5 years of traveling and constantly searching for organisms in my everyday life. To being able to observe a species that only I have on this app (Frigga Kessleri) and the only sighting in a whole country is absurd to me. Inaturalist has changed my life and I couldn’t be more joyous to be able to post my 1000 species. I know this is just the beginning. I’m almost 18 and I cant wait until I grow older and update my life list. My all time goal is 10,000 species. I’ll try my all to achieve it. This species means a lot to me. I found it with my partner @maritzam13 and it matches so much with many aspects of my life. I’m grateful for Mother Nature and the opportunity for me to continue my passion. Thank you everybody for being a part of this journey. I’ll continue as long as I live.
