Just someone who enjoys learning about science and taking pictures of stuff. Hoping to learn more about my local wildlife with this site and add to some biodiversity data. Current interests: birds, hoverflies, anything beeish or waspish, pokeweed.

My initial IDs on my observations are usually pretty tentative, so if you actually know something about dragonflies/lichen/wrens/oaks/whatever, please correct me!

Note on Belize observations -- my zoom lens camera does not have a GPS function, so take anything that doesn't have an exact location with a large grain of salt; I've tagged most of them as being at the lodge we were staying at at the time, but that should be considered extremely approximate. Bug/plant pictures were mostly taken with the macro lens camera which does have a pretty reliable GPS.
