I'm a sophomore student at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology studying Biomedical Engineering. I also have grown up with a great interest in the natural world. For the last 5 years I've been especially interested in birdwatching as a hobby. I have a bunch of photos and records, but iNaturalist is new for me. I may decide to upload some of my old observations at some point.

I enjoy using iNaturalist as a way to brush up my bird identification skills. Its a great bonus to be able to provide those identifications to other people as well. In the past, I've used eBird's identification quizzes. However, this community has been much more helpful. I'm definitely still learning, so I appreciate corrections to my own identifications.
