Hello. I am a life-long naturalist and am interested in many different groups of organisms: arthropods, birds, reptiles, amphibians and plants for starters.

I've worn many hats including: environmental educator, curriculum designer, professional birding guide, even Outward Bound guide once upon a time. I enjoy photographing the natural world and sharing it with others. It is especially gratifying when once in a while a photo captures a moment or an essence of an organism that transcends the ordinary. That is the photo I am always chasing.
